Josef Goebbels, Nazi Minister of Propaganda, was one of the first public figures to recognize the value of mass entertainment to political propaganda. Using archive examples of the Nazi propagandist's film work, the program examines how Goebbels created the myth of Adolf Hitler, organized mass spectacles, and established a film studio to produce entertainment that furthered the Nazi cause and prepared the Germans for the Final Solution.
