DanTDM is an English YouTuber and gaming creator who rose to global fame through his Minecraft videos, becoming one of the biggest creators on YouTube and, in 2017, the platform’s highest-paid star according to Forbes. Known for his family-friendly content and long-standing connection with his young audience, Dan has also been increasingly open about his struggles with mental health, including depression during the COVID-19 lockdowns and the pressures that came with balancing family life and an enormous online career. In 2024, he made headlines when he publicly criticised MrBeast, KSI and Logan Paul’s Lunchly, questioning the ethics of selling heavily marketed food products to children. The controversy became one of the biggest moments in his career and highlighted the principles that have shaped his reputation as one of YouTube’s most trusted veteran creators.
