The night is long, the anxiety grows, sleep refuses to come; your head feels like it’s about to explode, your temples ache, your throat is dry and tight, and there’s a knot in your stomach. Every time you close your eyes, you jolt awake, there’s screaming inside your skull. You are exhausted; you think the day will never break, and yet you don’t want it to, nothing matters anymore, save for sleep, or perhaps, death.
