An intimate autobiographical film weaving together years of analogue photographs, self-portraits, and moving image. What began as a private act of preservation unfolds into a quiet meditation on bipolar disorder, love, family, and everyday memory. Love in Three Acts is an intimate autobiographical film weaving together years of analogue photographs, self-portraits, and moving image. What began as a private act of preservation — documenting early motherhood in isolation during the pandemic — unfolds into a quiet meditation on bipolar disorder, love, family, and everyday memory. Moving between humour and heartbreak, the film gathers fragments of self as woman, artist, and mother, while tracing a fraught relationship with photography after leaving photojournalism. At its core, Love in Three Acts is an offering of a private world, now shared.
