American Troll

Storyline

American Troll is a story about sticking to your convictions, and the willingness to suffer for them. It is a tale of a decade long, legal battle between the Gabriel family with a deaf, singing child and comedian Mike Ward from Montreal, Canada. A monumental free speech case in Canadian history! This documentary is a reminder that, in the face of adversity, maintaining strong beliefs can lead to personal growth, mockery, depression, grey hairs, unwanted attention, online cruelty, repeating mistakes, and very expensive lawyer bills.
